yeah yeah ok, from what you say maybe the team did all run out without warning. But wouldn't you say he could have at least gave some warning, or anyhting at all? Also what the heck is up with people act different on these shows? Are you saying that because the title of ultimate gamer and 100,000 was on the line that it made him choke on his own words every second of the show? Since it is television it is unfortionately true that they recruit the MTV genre of look-alikes along with personality. It is for this fact that we may never see the 'Ultimate Gamer', yet just the ultimate famer. I do not question their abilities in the one genre of games that they may excel at, the only thing I question are teh real life challenges whch most seem to fail at, don't get me started on last seasons virtua fighter 4. Just cant wait to see the real lifers they pop outta this season and hopefully the contestants will live up to the title except barely passing by simply because everyone else sucked worse than the last.

@Jowdat Kassis - To answer your question of "Who gives a shit?" Any mature person does. No one wants to look at a forum that is just spammed with people bragging about themselves. People want to look at forums to either find or give info. Heck, some people just come to forums to chat. But no one wants to look at a thread and see people saying how much better they are than everyone else.

killer DNA your right dude. Dont say "like always I am wrong". Stick to your statements. What you seen is no surprise. Dante though I think you cant pass judgment on him. He didn't watch his team get slaughtered. They ran out with no warning. Also he might not be egotistical crybaby. In your perspective he did on the show. People act different in these reality shows, especially with 100k on the line. Last season was horrible in gears of war 2 play and soul calibur. This new season isn't much promising. Only problem is there recruiting people like the real world. The girls have to look semi-good and play games even if they suck. There has to be one nerd. There has to be a cocky person. There has to be handsome guys and a funny guy. Well this show is a reality show and drama brings in the money not competitive gaming. Oh yea and dkarmyRanger who thats the internet dude who GIVE A SHITTT. No one behaves the same and forums shit talking isn't a big deal.

your right, they did all get in this... for being great at pretty much 1 genre or even game. I cannot say much about this season since it just started but let's take last season for this case. Just about everyone cept 2 or 3 were in it just cause of Halo, but what really dissapointed and even pissed me off was the Dante guy (name?). He was the biggest egotistical crybaby of video gaming I have seen, bragging this and that but really choking on his words when it came down to it. From the halo real life challenge on how he was a 'good leader type' but just sat in the back and watched his whole team get shot up I couldn't laugh hard enough. Then came the actual Halo gameplay and he gets stuck with the 3 chicks AND COMPLAINS! Personally I would love to get paired up with all the chicks on the show, hell what guy wouldn't. But what really got me was how he once again proved how useles HE really was, not the chicks who could not play well. He gave no direction or coordination they all just ran around like chickens with their heads cut off while the other guys on the team were bragging about getting multikills. That was also funny seeing a bunch of 'pro' halo players bragging about getting multikills every 5 seconds to a team of people who technically can't play. Can't remember much about last season though as I am trying to get it out of my memory but what I do remember is the final challenge as I believe you do too. IT WAS AWFUL! The one guy bragging about his Gears2 skills and all the gameplay footage said anyone with slight gears skills could have just ran straight up to him and punched him to death every time. Then came Soul Calibur 4, my godly game of choice. I am not even going to rant about how pathetic this spam match was but let's just say one of them knew how to guard impact, or hell even just block, then it may have been interesting. It may just be me but I don't see how a professional level gamer can practice a game for several days straight and still suck at it, but thats just me, and like always I'm probably wrong.

I own Gears 2 but I just moved. So all of my games except MW2 are at my old house. Sorry. And no, I don't use twitter.

I've just recently gotten involved with these forums. But so far I've seen a lot of trash talking. There's no need for any of that. Calling someone out, saying you're better than them, saying you're the greatest gamer ever, doesn't prove anything. One thing people need to learn, is that one big part of being a pro/sponsored gamer, is to keep a cool head at all times. If someone talks trash to you, be the bigger man/woman and just ignore it. Because not only will it make them feel dumb for being an ass. It will also hit them harder when you beat them ;). I guess where I'm going with this, is just chill out.
