needs kids like 14 to 17

Point well taken my friend but since us older folks have jobs and decide to go home and play video games rather than going to a bar or a party doesn't mean that we can kick some ass on a game. I know its just practice and its true people do take advantage of the time they have practicing playing a game and getting good at it to beat certain people or just to be extremely great at it. But there are those few that will just pick up the controller and be amazingly awesome at any game they play. Its just mainly about the talent and/or the time to do so. As for the games for kids and/or adults, I firmly believe that the games are for everyone and if adults are playing games in front their kids, the kids are gonna be hooked anyways for watching. Im not saying its a bad thing, Id be one of the parents to introduce the games to them and I do have to agree with Martin about the downgrading of the show due to the fact that kids are immature and will not care about anything except winning and talking shit to the other players about it. I mean we all have our competitive sides but they wouldnt understand when to quit and end up causing chaos upon the set. To tell you the truth iam really tired and drunk and just wanted to put my two-sense in hahahahahaha

@Martin Garcia yea i feel what your sayin, i am 15 and unfortunantly a lot of kids i know would probaly drop that shows ratings from 1 mill to 0 in 5 sec flat the thing that sucks is there are the few of us that can actually do things like this without acting like a kid with ADD on crack... but offering spots for that minority would automaticly mean all the others would be allowed as well... that squeaky voice thing had me rollin lol but my voice is actually deeper than most adults i know XD

@freakadoshiz- i understand what ur saying and completely agree with you. Regardless of the ESRB rating, kids will still play those types of games. my main point was that the show would downgrade if kids (17-below) were the contestants. one other major reason that ive come up with is basically the existence of the show would be jepordized if kids were the focus. The show would lose the main adult fan base it had, cuz i mean cmon what adult wants to watch kids play videogames and talk trash with their squeaky voices lol.

alot of adults are really good at games and they didnt make game systems just for kids you know they made them for everyone to get enjoyment out of

martin i agree with you as far as the lack of maturity with most kids, but really kids are usually better at these things than adults are, and generally these games are directed more toward the 'teen' crowed. i cant tell you how many times Ive been to game stop and seen parents picking up games like COD and Grand Theft Auto for their little 5yr olds. gaming company's KNOW kids avidly play these games and most corporations will allow it.

You said that perfectly Martin. Good point. Totally agree.

nah the show would downgrade if kids were the contestants. plus games are really meant for all ages and not just kids. think about it,u shouldnt even be playing rated M games which i think is for 18 and over. so obviously the main target buyers are adults who actually have the cash to buy the games. plus the frontal lobes which control maturity and reasoning arent really developed at that age, the show would just have a bunch of hormonal fussing kids with bloated egos.

wait your turn like the rest of us or tryout for an mlg team dude no offense but they are looking for people that can be respectiful and people that there parents arent worried about them every five seconds

XIII_Khaos posted on Oct. 11, 2010, 1:28 a.m.

im 14 and im better than these 19 to 25 year olds. kids have smaller hands which makes them faster and kids dont get tired that easy during any kind of challenge. People that created game systems made it for kids and for there parents to buy. they didn't make it for some 20 to 40 year old virgins that still lives with there parents. I know that the creaters of WCG ultimate gamer are probably thinking well kids have school all the time, but let me juss say that some kids have around 2 to 3 months of free time during the summer that sounds like enough time to become a ultimate gamer........Doesn't IT?
