Conspiracy Analysis

Ultimate gamer is such a misnomer the show is mildly amusing but in no way a show of actual gaming skill. Console gaming is a bit of a joke competitively outside of fighters. I mean geoff season 1 plays no console at all really but is able to compete with people that play 12 hours a day. Ask any of those players to pick up broodwar and they would not be able to 2v1 him with the amount of practice the players get. Also to compare lolhalo to cs 1.6 and quake is stupid, and that is one of the most legit games they have used.

Calling me a troll would be indicating that this is somehow a legitimate topic. You throwing in a long winded theory and ignoring every logical counter argument many people have given to this crackpot conspiracy isn't what I would consider legitimate. I'd consider it an insult to those who participated in the show.

Yaz has actually competed in CGS so he has actually played in front of the crowd.

nah breh ur just overanalyzing something that i believe was legit. ur theories have some sense if ur mad set in believing it was rigged but cmon, to get that far and just throw the match just dosent make sense. i think yaz's inability to correctly adjust was probably due to his nerves and overwhelming pressure. I mean cmon imagine playing for 100k in front of millions of viewers and the chance to become wcg champion. would u be as kool as a kat (no pun intended).

Troll much? You're only belittling yourself by supporting this joke of a competition.

You're totally right. Also, man didn't land on the moon. And I was the second shooter on the grassy knoll.

First off, I do not believe this was a legitimate contest ( Consider last season ). It seems strange that every season the finale consists of a 'Favorite' to win, and the gamer who UTTERLY DOMINATED the contest up until the final, and then the Favorite magically wins with really fishy looking game footage. Second of all. I don't think the game or system choice was the culprit in this contest, because these "SUPER 1337 GAMERZ" should be able to get GOOD after a month+ of practice. ex I picked up CoD4 coming from CoD1 recently, I've had it for about a month, I have not played competitively yet, but I have yet to find someone that can actually beat my scores in public servers ( And I'm not one of these godly gamers that can supposedly adapt well ). Last season, people speculate that rob's controller was being fiddled with. I read a blog last year this guy claimed to have been at samsung stadium and he saw rob's controller lights going off and on. If we assume that was true, It wouldn't be too far fetched to think that Yaz's controller was sabotaged to prevent him from blocking ( a whole month to train and you don't know how to block? Doesn't sound like a Pro CS:S player would be that bad ). And again in Halo, His controller could have been rigged to randomly switch to his pistol (Which he used 90% of the match). And if all were true, that would explain why he practically gave up by dancing around outside. Yet then again, if all of this were the case, one would think Rob and Yaz would have show some emotions about it, and one would also think they would be raging about there controllers wigging out on them on the internet.. There would be some sort of dispute. An agreement is very likely. Consider a situation where you and I are given an opportunity to win 1,000,000. One of use would win that, and the other would win 500,000. Instead taking the risk to lose, we could sign a document that splits the combined earnings to equalize and guarantee us both 750,000. It's logical, because now they are simply fighting for the title, and Yaz was probably so discouraged about the game choices and how the point system worked that he just straight gave up ( which explains his dancing out side with a pistol 90% of the halo match and his expressionless face ). Then the final Idea, That WCG payed Yaz off to let Kat win. It's possible, but I don't know if Yaz would be one to take the money over the title... especially since Yaz seems to already be WELLL off with the house he lives in. Yet then again, Yaz could be a hard supporter of female gamers and he was willing to get payed $$ to concede.
