Korean Friendship Bell (San Pedro, CA)
This intricate bell was donated to Los Angeles by the people of the Republic of Korea in 1976 in celebration of the U.S. Bicentennial, to honor veterans of the Korean War, and to consolidate traditional friendship between the two countries. Weighing 17 tons, the bell has a height of twelve feet and a diameter of 7.5 feet. The twelve columns in the pavilion represent the twelve designs of the Oriental zodiac. The Korean Friendship Bell serves as the location for the "Hangin' Tough" challenge in WCG Ultimate Gamer Episode 201.
